A former Windsor Locks police sergeant accused of covering up a deadly crash involving his son has been found not guilty.
A jury decided Wednesday there was not enough evidence to convict Robert Koistinen.
His son, Michael Koistinen, also a former Windsor Locks police officer, hit and killed 15-year-old Henry Dang while he was riding his bike in 2010.
Prosecutors said Michael Koistinen was driving drunk, and he is serving five years in jail.
