Peace Corp volunteer sentenced in sexual abuse case

MILFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The Milford man accused of sexually abusing children while serving with the Peace Corp in South Africa has been sentenced.

Jesse Osmun was sentenced to 15 years in jail.

Prosecutors said Osmun sexually assaulted as many as five children at a center that helped AIDS victims.

He apologized in court Wednesday and said he struggles with feelings of guilt.
