BETHANY, CT (WFSB) -
Connecticut State Police are looking for the person responsible for damaging recreational fields in Bethany overnight Thursday.
Troopers said someone drove a pickup truck onto the Bethany Airport Recreation Facility on Amity Road and "tore up the grass" at the football field and other fields. The damage was discovered around 7:30 a.m.
The damage is estimated at $5,000, according to state police.
The case is under investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to call state police at 203-393-4200.
