MILFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The Milford Police Department is investigating three robberies over the past two weeks where a man has displayed a knife during each one.

The robberies occurred at the Dunkin Donuts at 1353 New Haven Ave., on Sept. 28 at 10:16 p.m.; the Shell gas station, at 524 New Haven Ave., on Oct. 6; and the Milford Wine & Spirits, at 149 Welches Point Rd., on Oct. 10.

During each robbery, the suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers, police said. The suspect is being described by police as a white man in his 30s to 40s about 6' tall with light-colored hair and a mustache.

Police are looking for a dark, older model four-door car with a handicap placard displayed in the front window that was seen at each robbery.

No one was injured in the robberies, police said.

Police are encouraging businesses to report any suspicious activity. Any business that wants a free security survey is asked to call 203-874-2366.

Anyone with any information is asked to the Milford Police Department at 203-783-4798.
