Crews deal with large sewage spill in Stamford

STAMFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Fire crews are on the scene of a large sewage spill in Stamford.

Stamford Fire Department said they got a call around 7:30 Friday morning about foam under water in the area of a marina at 21 Harbor Dr.

Crews determined it was raw sewage but say it is too much to clean.

The Health Department, DEEP and the Coast Guard are working with Stamford Fire to find a solution.
