The Southington Police Department seized more than 100 bags of heroin along with other various drugs and paraphernalia from a home Thursday.
Officers were called to 107 Sun Valley Dr. to execute a warrant. Once inside, officers found Dominick Palmisano in possession of 105 bags of heroin, 1 ounce of crack-cocaine, marijuana, money and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Renee Knight was also found in the home with prescription tablets and other drug paraphernalia, police said.
He was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics with the intent to sell, two counts of possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school zone, two counts of possession of narcotics with the intent to sell in a school zone, possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Palmisano was being held on a $75,000 bond and scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court in Bristol Friday morning.
Kight was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to keep prescription drugs in their original container. She was released after being held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Bristol on Oct. 22.
