More gun violence reported in the Elm City

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

Just days after a toddler was hit by a stray bullet on a porch in New Haven, police are investigating two more shootings Saturday.

According to police, officers responded to the area of Jackson Lane regarding a reported shooting late Friday night. At 11:21 p.m., callers reported two mend had been shot.

Police arrived and found Patric Mims, a 26-year-old New Haven man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Police also found Gerard Butler, a 26-year-old New Haven man, suffering from a gunshot to the leg.

Both men were transported by ambulance to Yale-New Haven hospital, where they were treated and listed in stable condition.

In the early morning, officers responded to another reported shooting, this time in the area of Harding Place.

According to police, officers arrived and located Deyja Jackson, a 32-year-old Massachusetts woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her abdomen. She was taken by ambulance to Yale-New Haven hospital, where her condition is listed as serious.

Investigating Officers learned the victim was one of two people on the porch of that address, when she was shot.
