One man was injured during a house fire in Groton on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the Ledgewood Condo complex at 294 Meridian St. around 12:15 p.m.
The fire started near a bathroom where a plumber was working. The plumber suffered minor burns on the arm and hands, according to fire officials.
The fire extended throughout the condo unit, however firefighters were able to quickly extinguish it.
The unit is uninhabitable and residents will have stay somewhere else Tuesday night. The unit sustained severe damage to the walls.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
