WINDHAM, CT. (WFSB) -
Firefighters have knocked down a fire at an apartment complex in Windham.
Crews were called to the Wyndham Apartments on Plains Road around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officials said the fire originated in the walls of the second floor.
Crews were able to knock down the fire in about 20 minutes, according to a fire department spokesperson.
According to fire officials, no one was injured in the fire, but three people living in the apartment building were displaced. They are now being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
