STRATFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A Stratford man turned himself after an investigation revealed he extorted several females on the internet for nude photos.

Police said they tracked John Lisi through Facebook and found him to be extorting a total of six women. He posted photos of two of the women on a pornographic website.

Lisi admitted extorting the females, according to police.

The investigation began in August after a woman reported she received an email from Lisi demanding nude photos of herself.

When the woman didn't respond to Lisi's email, he sent her a photo of herself. Police said it is unknown how Lisi obtained the photo.

Lisi was charged with 17 counts of criminal attempt to commit larceny in the first degree by extortion. He is due in court Oct. 26.

Police seized two computers, a hard drive and a flash drive from Lisi's home.

Additional charges may be pending once his computer is analyzed, according to police.

Lisi has been released on $50,000 bond.
