NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -
A former WWE diva is heading back to rehab after appearing in New Haven Superior Court Thursday.
Tamara Sytch, known to wrestling fans as Sunny, was arrested five times in the past month for charges related to domestic violence.
Because she ignored repeated orders by the court and kept getting arrested, the judge raised her bond to $100,000.
Sytch's attorney made a deal with the court to have his client sent to an alcohol treatment center in Pennsylvania.
"She looks forward to entering it," said her attorney Robert Serafinowicz. "Thanks WWE for all the help they've given to her in finding the right treatment plan to meet her needs."
The WWE will drive Sytch from court to the treatment center and pay for it. The WWE has sent Sytch, who has had problems with drugs and alcohol, to rehabilitation three times and has covered all the costs associated with the treatments.
"She doesn't understand the nuisances of the law and basically was asked to go back to her apartment," Serafinowicz said. "And basically falling into a trap setting her up for this trouble."
Sytch was previously arrested Sept. 11 and was charged with disorderly conduct. The next day, police again arrested and charged her with disorderly conduct, strangulation and violation of a protective order. In one of those incidents, she put her ex-boyfriend in a headlock, police said.
On Sept. 13, she was arrested again and charged her with violation of a protective order.
On Oct. 8, she was arrested after police found her intoxicated and sleeping inside her ex-boyfriend's Branford home. Sytch was charged with three counts of violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.
After bonding out on Oct. 9, a neighbor of the apartment complex noticed Sytch on the property again. She was arrested by police and charged with violating a protective order.
According to court papers, Sytch's bail bondsman brought her to her boyfriend's home.
Serafinowicz said he is looking into this incident because neither Sytch or any member of her family ever contacted a bail bondsman.
The bail bondsman would not comment to Eyewitness News following the incident.
Sytch only smiled and waved and did not talk to Eyewitness News Thursday. She will return to court next month.
Her ex-boyfriend would not comment about the Sytch's recent appearance or the consistent violation of protective orders.
