MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -
Officials in Middletown said a minor train accident was reported Wednesday afternoon.
Few details about the incident have been released, but officials said a Providence & Worcester Railroad engine was backing up near the Public Works yard when it derailed.
Emergency officials said fuel began to slowly leak from the 3,000-gallon tank into a culvert, but it is being cleaned up and officials said there was no threat or safety issues to the public.
