Republican Linda McMahon and Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy are traveling throughout Connecticut, making their final pitch to voters in the closely contested U.S. Senate race.
Both have full schedules Monday, the final day of campaigning before Election Day.
McMahon is beginning with a breakfast with women supporters in Glastonbury. She has events planned in Cromwell, East Lyme, Waterbury, Fairfield and Norwalk. She will also attend a rally with "job creators" in Southington, at the same manufacturing company where the businesswoman first announced her candidacy.
Murphy is greeting workers at Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. in Stratford. He has stops planned in Fairfield, Bridgeport, Milford, Middletown, Newington, East Hartford, West Hartford and Bristol. Murphy will also appear at a Hartford rally with former University of Connecticut head men's basketball coach Jim Calhoun.
