No one injured in Portland house fire

PORTLAND, CT (WFSB) -

Firefighters from Portland were able to knock a chimney fire at a home on Riverside Street Monday evening.

No one was injured during the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. However, fire officials said a small fire started in the fireplace, spread to the chimney and extended into the walls behind the chimney.
