One major department store is still sticking to its Christmas hold-off policy of not decorating until, well, closer to Christmas.
It seems as though most stores roll out the artificial Christmas trees and Hanukkah menorahs before Halloween candy is even discounted at 50 percent off, but officials at Nordstrom are saying "not so fast."
A sign greets shoppers at the Nordstrom at West Farms Mall that reads, "We won't be decking our halls until Nov. 23. Why? Well, we just like the idea of celebrating one holiday at a time."
Calls to Santa Claus, of the North Pole, seeking comment have not been returned.
