Missing Southington woman found safe in MA

ACTON, MA (WFSB) -

A woman from Southington has been found safe in Massachusetts after her vehicle was found abandoned in the town of Acton, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Massachusetts State Police said the Southington woman's vehicle was found abandoned on the side of Route 2 in Acton early Friday morning. The gold Toyota Sienna minivan, which was registered in Connecticut, was observed on the other side of the road from the Concordian Motel.

Massachusetts State Police said the car belonged to Robin Sack, 50, of Southington.

Southington police said Sack was last seen Thursday afternoon and was reported missing Thursday night.

Massachusetts State Police said troopers from the Concord Barracks, along with Concord and Acton police, searched for Sack for hours.

Sack was found Friday afternoon and was safe, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Her whereabouts while she was missing are unknown.
