Train station briefly closed due to gas leak

NORWALK, CT (WFSB) -

The South Norwalk train station was briefly shut down Saturday night due to a minor gas leak.

MetroNorth officials told Eyewitness News that the station was shut down around 6 p.m. Saturday after a minor gas leak was reported.

Several trains traveling in both directions were affected by the closure.

Officials said the station was back in service by 9 p.m. Saturday.
