CANTERBURY, CT (WFSB) -
State police are investigating a crash in Canterbury that left a Norwich man dead.
It happened around 7 a.m. Saturday morning on South Canterbury Road.
Police said a car driving southbound lost control when driving around a curve and went off the roadway.
The car then struck several trees before eventually stopping, police said.
The driver of the car, identified by authorities as Joshua Chameroy, 25, of Norwich, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Police said Chameroy was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
