2 missing Belchertown girls found safe

BELCHERTOWN, MA (WSHM) -

It was a scary situation Sunday evening as two 12-year-old girls went missing from an area around Bardwell Street.

Belchertown police told CBS 3 that about an hour after the search began, the girls were found safe and are not injured.

Massachusetts State Police assisted in the search, providing troopers and K-9 units.
