Police in Naugatuck arrested 50-year-old Scianna Thomas and charged him with risk of injury to a child Tuesday night after being called to his residence.
Officers were originally dispatched to a medical call reporting an intoxicated male who had fallen. During the investigation, police determined that Thomas had hit is son and his son's friend.
Thomas argued with police, alleging his son had hit him during an argument. Police subsequently arrest Thomas and held him on $5,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior court Nov. 14.
