Two of the latest scams are targeting users of Facebook, and both could provide an avenue to have your personal information stolen.
One scam is aimed at luring in teenagers, while the other attempts to lure adult users.
Teens who are enthralled with the Twilight series of movies are awaiting the new Breaking Dawn.
There is a Facebook page that promises teens free vampire contact lenses they can wear to the movie premiere this week.
All the teens have to do is "like" the page and share it with Facebook friends. Apparently, more than 40,000 people have already fallen for this bogus page.
And it's not only kids falling for Facebook scams.
A bogus page called "Facebook Black" is luring plenty of adults.
The promise is that you can change your Facebook screen color from blue to any color.
But just like the Twilight page, once you click on the link you are now vulnerable.
Once you click on the link to the bogus pages, persons on the back end can access your personal information.
Bottom line: Don't click, "like," or share the links for the fake Twilight or "Facebook Black" pages, that resemble very real Facebook pages.
