GUILFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Guilford police are looking for a man they said stole bags of money from a Walmart employee Sunday morning.

Just after 9 a.m., a man entered the Boston Post Road store and loaded a carriage with high dollar items.

Security began to watch the man because of the amount of money all of the items were worth, but he left the store without anything.

But then, police said, he returned a few minutes later, stole two bags of money from an employee and ran out of the store.

The man then got into a silver or gray colored mid-90s Honda Accord. The vehicle was reported to have licence plate CT 649YIX, which came back as being canceled.

The man was described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic man around 30 years old and was wearing dark colored jeans, a plaid flannel shirt and bright white sneakers.

There was a second suspect in the vehicle, police said, and he was described as a heavy set white man with blonde hair and glassed, believed to be in his mid 20s.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police.
