Connecticut State Police arrested a known car burglar late Friday night after troopers caught him allegedly rummaging through a parked car in West Hartford.
Herman Alexander, 47, of Hartford was arrested and charged with four separate burglaries in the West Hartford area. He was charged with numerous crimes including illegal use of a credit card, burglary, credit card theft and failure to appear.
Police said Alexander was looking in a parked car at a home on Claredon Avenue just after 11 p.m. Troopers located Alexander crossing Interstate 84 and he was arrested in a parking lot on Kane Street.
