Charter school teacher allegedly sends nude picture to student

EASTHAMPTON, MA (WSHM) -

A teacher at a South Hadley charter school is on administrative leave and facing criminal charges for allegedly sending a nude picture of himself to a student.

Daniel Lozada, 33, allegedly sent the picture to a 17-year-old female student. He has been placed on administrative leave from the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter School.

Lozada has been charged with disseminating obscene matter to a minor. He posted $250,000 bail and is not allowed to have any indirect contact with anyone under the age of 18.

Lozada is due back in court in January.
