Plainfield police seize hundreds of packages of synthetic marijuana

PLAINFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

Three Moosup residents were arrested after hundreds of packages of alleged synthetic marijuana were seized from a smoke shop in Moosup Village section of Plainfield Monday morning.

The Plainfield Police Department executed a search warrant at Grafitti Smoke Shop on Railroad Avenue at 10:15 a.m. A lengthy investigation by police discovered that illegal synthetic marijuana was being sold out of the business.

Joseph Rubino, 44, Jonathan Tetreault, 26, and Adrianne Glaude, 36, were all arrested on Monday and charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

All three were released on a $10,000 bond and are expected to appear in Superior Court in Danielson on Dec. 10.
