Thousands of people from across the country are coming together on social media to help a Connecticut 4-year-old, who was injured after he was pinned underneath a tree earlier this month.
Robby Klimaytis was outside his father's home in West Redding when a tree collapsed on him and he was pinned for an "extended period of time."
He suffered multiple injuries including a brain injury and is in stable condition at the Connecticut Children's Medical Centers Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Hartford.
His family has setup a website and Facebook page to inform people about Robby's progress while gathering support and prayers from people all over the world.
"Robby is a light to everyone he meets," the website reads . "He truly believes in no strangers, only friends, and will talk to and make friends with anyone."
The Facebook page has a set photo album titled "50 States of Robby," where they ask people to upload pictures of the #TeamRobby sign with your hometown and state on it. Pictures have been received from 26 different states.
Friends of the family are selling #TeamRobby T-shirts, bracelets and holding other donation drives to help raise money for the child.
Robby's family believes he will recover and be able to do some of his favorite activities again such as swimming, baseball, crafts and playing outside with his dog.
Robby's mom told Eyewitness News "We believe he will be restored fully because of the answers to all of the positive prayers and thoughts that people are sending to him."
