NORWALK, CT (WFSB) -

A Norwalk man was arrested Monday after police said he was in possession of child pornography, following a lengthy investigation.

The computer crimes unit of the Connecticut State Police began investigating Raymond Forlano, 50, in May after child pornography was shared from his home on Magnolia Avenue.

On Aug. 29, the unit seized several items from the residence after obtaining a warrant and police found pictures and video files of suspected child pornography.

Forlano turned himself in to state police Monday and was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography in the first degree, promoting a minor in an obscene performance and obscenity.

He was released on a $25,000 bond and is expected to appear at Superior Court in Norwalk on Dec. 5.
