2 arrested on prostitution charges in Newington

Kevin Huckaby, 28 & Shannon O'Brien, 24

NEWINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

Two people were arrested last week by the Newington Police Department and have been charged with prostitution and other drug charges.

Police said on Nov. 20, the Newington Police Department Detective Division conducted an undercover operation on the Berlin Turnpike, which resulted in the arrests.

Kevin Huckaby, 28, of Hamden, was arrested and charged with prostitution.

Shannon O'Brien, 24, of Middletown, was also arrested on charges of prostitution, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
