Woman claiming bomb robs Peoria bank

A woman who claimed she had an explosive device robbed a Peoria bank on Nov. 21, police said.

Peoria police are turning to the public in hopes of generating leads that will solve the case.

The woman entered a Wells Fargo Bank near 75th Avenue and Cactus Road just after 2 p.m., police said. She approached a bank employee and demanded money.

The robber left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as black and in her mid 20s to early 30s. She is between 5'6" to 5'7" tall and weighs between 140 to 160 pounds. She has long black hair and was last seen wearing tight black pants and a black shirt with "South Pole" written in neon green.
