Three people are accused of prostitution at a massage center in Darien.
Following allegations of prostitution, the Darien Police Department launched an investigation into the Sunrise Health Therapeutic Massage on Post Road.
After the four-month investigation, which used undercover informants from the Connecticut State Police-Statewide Organized Crime Investigation Task Force and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, three people from New York were arrested Friday.
Fu Xu, 49, was charged with promoting prostitution, permitting prostitution and three counts of employing unlicensed massage therapists. He is held a $5,000 bond.
Fenjiao Gao, 43, was charged with interfering with a police officer and practicing massage without a license. She is being held on $1,000 bond.
Xiuguin Lu, 45, was charged with two counts of prostitution and three counts of practicing massage without a license. She is held a $20,000 bond.
All three of suspects are expected to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 10.
