WINSTED, CT (WFSB) -
A 23-year-old man was stabbed during a fight with another man in Winsted on Friday afternoon.
Police said the victim was stabbed in the lower abdomen. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where officials said he underwent emergency surgery.
Police said they later located a small pocket knife in a storm drain near where the stabbing happened.
Police arrested Donald Hatfield in connection to the stabbing. He was released on a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 10.
