The Federal Emergency Management Agency says it is closing disaster recovery centers in Old Saybrook and Groton that were set up to help residents get help for damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.
The center in Old Saybrook is set to close next Saturday and the Groton office will be shutting down on Wednesday.
FEMA officials say residents with storm damage can still register for aid online or through the agency's Helpline call center, or visit a center that remains open.
The website to register online is www.DisasterAssistance.gov . Residents can also call FEMA at 800-621-3362.
Centers remain open in Milford, Bridgeport, Fairfield and Greenwich.
