Farmington residents warned about rabid skunk

FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

A skunk that tested positive for rabies was seen in the Tunxis Mead area of Farmington late last month.

Anyone who sees a skunk or any animal acting "sick" should report it to the Farmington Police Department at 860-675-2400.

The Farmington Police Department is also reminding residents to keep all domestic animals on a leash.
