Connecticut broadcaster Arnold Dean passed away at age 82 on Saturday at his home.
The "Dean of Sports" will be remembered for his years of reporting at WTIC radio, as well as Channel 3. His 64 years working in broadcasting began in Cortland, New York, before he joined WTIC in 1965.
Outside of his career as a sportscaster, he also served in the Air Force.
A public wake will be held at Brooklawn Funeral Home in Rocky Hill from 2-8 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services for Saturday are not yet finalized.
