Silver alert issued for missing Wethersfield man

WETHERSFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Wethersfield are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 81-year-old man.

William Graver was last seen running errands around 8 a.m., police said. He was driving a 2005 gray 2005 Ford Explorer with Connecticut license plate 96CZ13. The vehicle has a sign on it that reads "Graver's Landscaping."

Graver is described as a white man with gray hair and green eyes. He stands about 5'8'' and weighs about 190 pounds.

Police said he was last seen wearing a blue sweater.

Anyone with information about Graver's whereabouts is asked to call Wethersfield Police Department at 860-721-2900.
