Men convicted of setting fire to Norfolk Curling Club sentenced

NORFOLK, CT (WFSB) -

The men convicted of setting a fire that destroyed the Norfolk Curling Club were sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday.

Matthew Carey and Kyle Majewski said they set the fire after smoking synthetic marijuana last year.

Police said they also face charges for other crimes, including stealing street signs and breaking into homes.

Their sentences could be suspended after 10 years.
