The annual live holiday telethon, which benefited the Channel 3 Kids Camp and featured performances by WFSB meteorologist Scot Haney and a variety of local artists, students and WFSB talent was held Saturday morning.
The annual Joy for the Kids concert benefits the Channel 3 Kids Camp in Andover. The camp has been helping children for more than 100 years build lifelong friendships at an accessible and inclusive camping experience. Children from every county in Connecticut and across New England attend the camp.
The holiday telethon ran from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Dec. 29. The event was postponed after the shooting at an elementary school in Newtown.

The concert was taped at the Hartford Stage in November and features classic and modern holiday music being performed by New England's Ticket to Ride, Latanya Farrell, Dana Lauren Sextet and Chorus Angelicus & Gaudeamus.
There was a also performance by the Forbes Flyers of Torrington, who performed a jump rope routine to a Christmas medley.
The event also saw zany antics from Haney and WFSB Morning Traffic Reporter Olessa Stepanova as well as a duet with Eyewitness News Anchor Denise D'Ascenzo.
