EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
The East Hartford Fire Department said it has suspended its search for a missing person in the Connecticut River.
Emergency crews spent part of the morning canvassing the river after getting word that someone fell into the water.
The incident was reported in the area of East River Drive near Connecticut Boulevard.
According to witnesses, a man was pulled down stream and then went under the water.
No other information was released from officials.
