Counseling services available for Newtown residents

NEWTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Emergency counseling services are being made available for anyone who was affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

The services are being made available at the Newtown Youth and Family Services on Berkshire Road.

No appointments are needed and walk-ins will be accepted.

Connecticut State Police have confirmed that 28 people including 18 children and the gunman as well as another adult at a secondary scene are dead after a shooting inside the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Friday morning.
