AVON, CT (WFSB) -
The Avon Police Department is investigating a home invasion on Jackson Street Tuesday night.
According to police, two men forced their way into the residence wearing all black and masks about 7:30 p.m. The suspects demanded money at gunpoint from the residents, police said.
The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. A search of the area was conducted; however, police were unable to locate the men, police said.
One of residents suffered a minor asthma attack but did not require hospitalization. No other serious injuries.
The armed residential robbery is under investigation by the Avon Police Department. Anyone with any information is asked to police at 860-409-4200.
