The Hartford Police Department has arrested a 38-year-old man accused of stabbing someone at a rooming house on King Street last month.
Police had been searching for Manuel "O" Santiago of Hartford.
He was now charged with criminal attempt to commit murder and first-degree assault. He is being held on $750,000 bond.
Joshua Henry, 28 of Hartford, who police said was stabbed by Santiago, remains in critical condition at an area hospital. His injuries are considered life-threatening.
It's not yet clear what prompted the stabbing.
According to police, Santiago was arrested in October for second-degree larceny, threatening and breach of peace.
The stabbing is still under investigation by the Hartford Police Department.
