A phoned in threat was made against New London Superior Court on Friday morning.
Police would not say what type of threat was made, but it forced officials to evacuate the courthouse for more than an hour.
No one was injured and court has since resumed.
Connecticut State Police shut down access to the courthouse and brought in specially trained K-9s to search the three-story structure on Broad Street.
In addition, Eyewitness News learned investigators are speaking with a person of interest that may have knowledge about the threat.
