Bridgeport police investigate deadly shooting

BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Bridgeport are investigating a deadly shooting.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday night at an apartment within the Green Homes Housing project in Bridgeport.

Officials said the victim, identified as Taurus Williams, 37, was shot multiple times. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Bridgeport police.
