Man injured in hit-and-run in East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Police in East Hartford are investigating after a man was injured in a hit-and-run.

Officials said it happened Saturday evening in the area of 20 Burnside Avenue.

The victim was taken to Hartford hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they are now searching for a gray colored Infiniti that may have been involved in the crash.

Officials told Eyewitness News that it appears the suspects may have been involved in a car vandalism in the area before striking the pedestrian.

Anyone with information is being asked to call East Hartford police.
