Two men are facing charges after police said they were found in the possession of drugs during a traffic stop.
According to police, Colin Frechette, 23, of Moosup, and George Kazakidis, 27, of Gilman, provided police with false identification during a traffic stop. Both men were found to be in possession of heroin.
Police said the drugs had an estimated street value of nearly $8,000.
Frechette is now facing charges including possession of heroin, and violation of probation. He's being held on two separate $75,000 bonds. He's due in court Jan. 8.
Kazakidis is also facing several drugs charges, as well as interfering with an officer. He was also charged with second degree failure to appear. He was held on two separate $500 bonds and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 24.
