Police investigate suspicious death near bowling alley in Waterford

WATERFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The Waterford Police Department is asking for the public's help after a 34-year-old man was found injured outside a Waterford bowling alley and later died.

Around 8:15 p.m., Kyle Seidel, of Waterford, was discovered in the parking lot of the Family Bowl on Boston Post Road, police said.

Seidel was suffering from a chest wound and was transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.

An autopsy is expected to be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.

The New London County State's Attorney's Office and the Connecticut State Police is assisting the Waterford Police Department in the investigation.
