
Bristol police are investigating a Christmas Day robbery after a lone gunman made off with cash shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, the Central Street convenience store was robbed by a suspect, described as a Hispanic male around 4:22 p.m.
Police said the man was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, a blue wool cap and a blue scarf over his face. The man demand cash and the cashier complied with demands, police said. No one was injured and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Police used members of the patrol division as well as a canine unit to track the suspect. Anyone with information is as to call Officer Dan O'Reilly at 860-584-3011.
