New Haven police investigate shooting

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

New Haven police are continuing to investigate a Christmas Day shooting in the city.

Police said a man told Yale-New Haven Hospital staff he had been shot in the area of 590 George St. around 2 a.m.

Police said they didn't find a crime scene, but did speak with witnesses that described the shooting.

The unidentified victim is listed in stable condition.
