Police search for missing South Windsor teenager

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) -

The South Windsor Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a missing 17-year-old boy, who was last seen at his home Friday.

According to police, Jamal Butler may be headed to New York City to take part in New Year's Eve festivities. Police also believe that he could be in the Torrington or in Connecticut in general.

However, police said it is unclear who Jamal is with.

Jamal is being described as a black male, who is 5"8' and weighs 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The incident is being investigating by South Windsor Police Department. Anyone with any information is asked to call at 860-644-2551.
