Three people were arrested after a fight on the steps of the Bridgeport Superior Court on Monday morning.
Troopers were called to the Bridgeport Superior Court on Golden Hill Street around 10:50 a.m. after reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival, troopers found the families and friends of three suspects in a murder case that occurred in Bridgeport fighting on the steps.
Josue Gullap, 26, Tyrell Simms, 20, and Jessica Gullap, 20, were arrested.
Josue Gullap, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Jan. 11.
Jessica Gullap was charged with second-degree breach of peace and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Jan. 11.
Simms is charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Jan. 10.
After their investigation, state police determined that no weapons were used during a fight and no shots were ever fired.
It is unclear if anyone was seriously injured in the fight.
